Firmware per N73 – 4.0727.2.2.1

Welcome! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my E’ stato rilasciato, per ora solo per i cellulari APAC (asiatici) il nuovo firmware per N73 con codice 4.0727.2.2.1. Tutto quello che sono riuscito a trovare a riguardo ? uno screenshot (di cui non sono nemmeno sicuro – non ho mai visto uno screen con la (c) del Copyright Nokia) e poche informazioni riguardanti soprattutto la compatibilit? con antenne GPS esterne, che risulta uguale alla versione precedente, e cio? con ancora molti bug da sistemare. A breve (questione di giorni) dovrebbe essere disponibile la versione per i telefoni Europei, controllate con NSU se sono disponibili aggiornamenti e se potete, fatemelo sapere in modo da aggiornare il post…

a loro esce la C di copyright nokia.. penso proprio sia autentica come screen.

per? pietro.. hai detto: solo per i cellulari asiatici… ma se controlli la screen… o meglio l’operatore.. ? O2 UK uk = united kindom , che se non sbaglio sta in europa lol :) faccio una prova , mettendo il product code inglese e vedo se mi segnala la presenza di aggiornamenti, se si scrivo un articolo ank’io e cmq ti citer?

I keep checking the Nokia UK site but it still shows v3.0704.1.0.1 as the latest firmware for my device. Is that a fake 02 UK screen shot, Pietro?
But I do believe the v4.0727.2.2.1 has N73ME music player features. If so could they have done this to stop people from changing product codes and flashing vanilla N73s with N73ME firmware updates?

No Mick, it’s not a fake… My friend who send it to me guaranteed it’s original. He used an APAC product code for changing firmware, because as you told me, it’s still not available for download on NSU. It should be available soon, if informations i have are right, for the end of july…
For ME question: i don’t know my friend, i just asked for informations about the version but not for the type of firmware… Personally i don’t think that nokia will release it later for the product code question… I’t a true that Nokia knows that nemesis and other softwares exists, but it’s not a problem for them i think… They just sell devices, it’s just important to empty shelves

I’ll keep my beedy eye on the Nokia site for news. For some reason I can’t get onto the Nokia forum to ask questions because it just won’t let me log in at all. I signed up for membership ages ago. If I do hear or see anything about ME features I’ll let you know.

Hi Pasco,
I have version 4.0726.2.0.1 of 26-6-2007, RM-133The (c) is also present in this firmware version (c) Nokia N73 (02)
Hopefully the new firmware will be available soon for the Netherlands as with the current firmware you are unable to connect any bluetooth device :-S

The new v4.0726.2.0.1 is now up for download on the Nokia UK site. And I can confirm that it does now include the N73ME music player for vanilla N73′s. If I find any more enhancements I’ll mention them here
I’m gonna go play with my new phone now :P

So far I’ve found:
N73ME music player complete with visualisations, built in loudness control (works wonders for the bass :P ), Stereo widening and complete control of the player via the joystick.
Now supports updates over the air. (No need to connect to a PC), but check your operators data charges (it’s a huge file) and make sure you’re in a 3G area (or you could be in for a long night :P )
The 3D snakes game has been removed. (Never played it anyway :P )
However there’s no support for A2DP stereo bluetooth headphones (something I was hoping for), but they still work via mono. (may come in a later update, if it’s possible.)

questa notizia ? avvincente anche se manca il changelog del nuovo FW.
Mi irrita non poco che abbiano rimosso Snakes ? stato mitico per anni e questa volta era perfetto. I signori della nokia forse lo hanno tolto in quanto il 50 % dei modelli ha rotto il Joystik per giocare a snakes… ( riparazione in garanzia)
Una piccola query… come salvare snakes? e reinstallarlo dopo l’upgrade annunciato imminente a settembre?

ragazzi avrei bisogno se potete di sapere come si ritorna dalla versione per music edition alla normale…
ho gi? sostituito il product code con qll originale ma poi il nokia su mi dice che il telefono ? gi? aggiornato…cosa devo fare? mi mandate una mail qui?
